According to the rumour posted on the French forums, Dealabs by rumour monger, billbil-kun, a leak obtained from their sources seems to suggest that Epic Games plans on doing the free giveaway next month. More specifically, it plans on starting from the middle of the month, 15 December. That’s not all to the rumour either. As per billbil-kun’s posting, they say that Epic Games’ free daily giveaway is expected to last well past Christmas, and into the New Year....

Facebook says that it extended the grace period because it had noticed some users actually try to log back in to their accounts after the previous 14 days grace period. Increasing the time, it says, helps them to make a more informed choice. For the ones that do have a change of heart, do note that your account won’t automatically be restored when you attempt to log back in after choosing to delete the account....

Australian Treasurer Josh Frydenberg today announced that Facebook has “re-friended” Australia. The company confirmed just as much in a public statement, noting it was pleased to reach an agreement with the government. Facebook said Australia agreed to some changes and guarantees that address its core concerns about allowing commercial deals that recognise the value our platform provides to publishers relative to the value we receive from them. That might be a roundabout way of saying news companies owe a lot of their traffic to Facebook, and Facebook gets relatively little in return....

But for some unexplainable reason, Michelle Rodriguez has taken to Twitter to say that Chris Morgan has got absolutely nothing to do with where the ‘justice for Han’ narrative is heading. The announcement also came with a new trailer, which doesn’t exactly show anything new. It shows a short montage of gameplay from the base game and the Intergrade upgrade. The trailer then ends with the 16 December release date. Though it did open with the Epic Games Store stamp, indicating that it will be exclusive to it. Funnily enough, the trailer ends with a scene from Intergrade showing Yuffie screaming immediately after her line “this is just wrong”....

The trailer itself didn’t reveal much, though. All we see is a few new combat gameplay, as well as a new cutscenes. By now, it’s all very familiar stuff that we’ve seen before, especially with the trailer from last month. That said, at the end of it, the trailer displayed the date 3 March 2020. Curiously, only the PlayStation 4 was showcased as a platform for the game. This may mean that the game will be a PS4 exclusive....
