The source of the rumour, RedGamingTech, says that while AMD is already working on high-end GPU – codenamed Navi 21 and Navi 23 – the brand won’t be launching cards based on the architecture until the year 2020. Further, it seems the GPUs been labelled as “NVIDIA killers”. This is interesting, as the label could mean one of two things; the first is that AMD’s high-end GPU will be able to match NVIDIA’s high-end GeForce cards (currently the RTX 2080, RTX 2080 Super, and RTX 2080 Ti) pixel for pixel, or that they could offer gamers graphics cards with a better price-to-performance ratio....

Zen4 Goes Live While the announcement circled around the new Ryzen 7000 series, the real star of the lineup is undoubtedly the Zen4 CPU architecture. Off the bat, the new CPU architecture is based on a brand new 5nm die lithography, and like all successive CPU generations, AMD has designed the Ryzen 7000 series to be significantly faster than its predecessors. Specifically, the new Zen4 architecture has twice the L2 Cache per core at 1MB, more than 15% uplift in single-threaded performance, and gaming clocks of 5GHz or faster....

Specifically, the listing in AMD’s Library contains a total of four Ryzen 7000 Series SKUs. The list includes the Ryzen 5 7600X, 7700X, 7900X, and 7950X. That list, by the way, doesn’t appear to include a Ryzen 7 5800X or the Ryzen 3 SKUs of the 7000 series. Beyond that, the AMD LIbrary doesn’t include any specifications about the 7000 Series. CNBC cites analyst firm CCS Insight’s forecast that the iPhone maker will “likely launch an iPad with a folding screen in 2024”. This came as part of the firm’s annual predictions report. In an interview with the outlet, the analyst firm’s chief of research Ben Wood says that “it doesn’t make sense for Apple to make a foldable iPhone” and doing so would cannibalise existing models.
