Reports of the Zen+ CPUs existence first popped up at the beginning of August this year. To date, only the 2990WX and 2950X are currently available on the market. As pointed out by AnandTech, the 2970WX is similar to the 2990WX in that it uses four eight-core Zeppelin dies on a single piece of substrate. But with one core disabled within each dies. So instead of of 32-cores, the 2970WX will only have a 24-cores, 48-threads running on a base and boost clockspeed of 3GHz and 4.2GHz, respectively. It will also have a 250W TDP.

Like its predecessor, it even carries the same number of cores and threads, which is 12-cores, 24-threads. In terms of speed, the 2920X has a base clock of 3.0GHz and a boost clock of 4.3GHz. Also, the TDP of the 2920X seems to be same as the 1920X at 180W. At the time of writing, AMD had yet to announce an official price for either the Ryzen Threadripper 2 2970WX or 2920X. But given that its global availability is less than a month away, the semiconductor maker will most likely release that bit of information closer to the date. (Source: AnandTech, Twitter)
