Those making the journey on bikes or via public transport will still have to get permission to do so. This can be done via the Gerak Malaysia app, or by applying to do so from your nearest police station. And since PDRM is still taking in applications, you could also print out the forms yourself and fill them in beforehand. Though to reiterate, not everyone can apply to be allowed interstate travel. As we’ve reported on before, the journey is only permitted if you’re traveling to the state in which you work. Either that, or you’re picking up family members back from your hometown, or picking them up from there. The schedule is also pretty much set in stone, which you can also check out in our previous report. Though there are other things that you’ll have to be aware off too before you make the interstate journey. A recent one was the need to generate a QR code via the Gerak Malaysia app. (Source: PDRM / Facebook)
