The official list was posted on the game’s Epic Games Store page, where it is expected to remain there as a timed exclusive before finally being available on Steam. Apparently, the minimum requirements to run the game starts with either an Intel Core i5-3450 or AMD Ryzen 3 CPU, 8GB RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 470. Moving up the ladder, the recommended requirements seem to insist on a system running a Core i5-7600K or AMD Ryzen 5, or higher, 12GB RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or AMD Radeon Vega56 GPU. For the game to even run smoothly at 4K resolution. All in all, both the minimum and recommended requirements are surprisingly tame, especially since the game was once hailed as one of the most graphically punishing titles of its time.

We want to show you, for the very first time, an in-game screenshot using the new “Can it Run Crysis?” Graphic mode, which is designed to demand every last bit of your hardware with unlimited settings – exclusively on PC! pic.twitter.com/kVHEf63oWe — Crysis (@Crysis) September 6, 2020 Of course, given that Crysis Remastered will also be loaded with eye-pleasing effects such as a new lighting, ray-traced reflections, and an updated 8K texture package, it comes as a surprise to no one that the game will feature an extreme graphics setting. Officially and aptly referred to as the “Can it Run Crysis” setting. In regards to that, Crytek did release a 4K in-game screenshot on its official Twitter account, but the image compression made by Twitter really doesn’t do the screenshot any justice and actually makes it look a lot worse than it actually is. Crysis Remastered will be launching on 18 September and will be available on the PS4, Xbox One X, and Epic Games Store for PC. Crytek had mentioned that the game will also be arriving on the Nintendo Switch, but at the time of writing, there is still no official date for it. (Source: TweakTown, PCGamer)
