Resetera forum users found mention of a playable Vergil from decoding the game’s .exe file. That said, it remains to be seen if he will be fully playable in the main story or if he will be limited to the Bloody Palace mode. For the unfamiliar, the Bloody Palace is a bonus mode that has been present since DMC3. In it, you try your best to survive 100 floors of progressively more difficult foes. It is indeed odd that it was not included in DMC5 during release, but being a free update isn’t too bad. Based on the same data mine, it appears that this iteration of the Bloody Palace may include a multiplayer option. The Bloody Palace DLC is set to release in April, so let’s see if all the information from the data mine proves to be accurate. (Source: Resetera via USgamer)
