During the Real Deal Xbox Podcast, the host Dealer Gaming mentioned hearing that SIE and FromSoftware have signed a deal to make another PlayStation exclusive. It won’t be Bloodborne 2, but it will be the same type of game, a genre that’s been dubbed Soulsborne. And in the same vein, it will also be a PlayStation exclusive, and not the timed variety, the way many exclusives finally end up being available on PC.
The rumour was corroborated by Xbox Era co-founder Nick. But ultimately, it still remains a rumour. And even if it ends up being true, it will be awhile before FromSoftware will even announce such a game. After all, the company is still busy working on Elden Ring. On that note, the game finally has a release date of 21 January 2022. And it will likely be after its release before FromSoftware announces a new project, even if it’s already working on something new.
