As seen in the Twitter screenshot posted by Jane Manchun Wong, who has a great track record finding new features within apps through reverse engineering, there are now larger buttons situated below the slider in the latest UI on Google Photos. Just like many other photo editing apps around, users can also save the edited version of their photo while at the same time still have the unedited version stored on their device.
— Jane Manchun Wong (@wongmjane) August 25, 2020 Through the new UI, users will now have the convenience of editing their photos within the Google Photos app. Alternatively, there is also a quick access feature so users could utilize other editing apps outside Google Photos. However, there is still no word on when the company plans to release the new UI to the public. Well then, we guess users will have to remain patient until further information is released with regards to this update. (Via: XDA Developers)
