As with the company’s other efforts prior to this, the launch of this new service aims to help small and traditional local businesses boost their sales during these trying times. Food Courts will also provide Grab customers with a wide selection of affordable food which can be delivered to them via a single order.

This would eliminate the need for users to order separate meals from participating vendors as individual deliveries, as well as also allowing them to save on delivery fees. Currently, the new service is available across Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Melaka and Ipoh. Along with the launch of Food Courts, Grab also revealed that it has expanded the coverage of its Pasar by GrabMart service to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In addition, the company noted that it had also added new markets in the Penang region with the inclusion of Pasar Batu Lanchang and Pasar Bayan Baru, with two more coming soon in October.
