Perhaps the major highlight from this Sonic The Hedgehog and Sega collaboration are Higround’s trio of 65-percent keyboards. The first of which features the franchise’s titular character and his evil counterpart Shadow, along with head silhouettes of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and more on the navigation keys column on the right hand side of the keyboard. Meanwhile, the second keyboard features the game’s iconic Green Hill Zone, whereas the third sports a design that is inspired by the Sega Dreamcast console. Designs aside, all three keyboards feature an aluminium plate, side-printed lettering, TTC Speed Silver Switches, dual silicone dampening foam, USB-C detachable connection, macro programming, and fully customisable RGB lighting. Each of these also come with a USB-C cable, a keycap puller, and a switch puller. For keyboard builders, you’ll be glad to know that Higround is offering the Sonic and Shadow, as well as Green Hill Zone designs as just keycaps, which are available in 65-percent and full-size (104 keycaps) options. Additionally, these artworks are also featured on the brand’s XL sized (90 x 40 cm) mouse pads. Unfortunately, the company isn’t offering keycaps or mouse pads that sport the Dreamcast-inspired design. All three Sonic x Highground 65-percent keyboards are priced at US$ 145 (~RM 646) each, the 68 keycap set is at US$ 60 (~RM 267), the 104 keycap set at US$ 85 (~RM 379), and the mouse pads at US$ 50 (~RM 222) each. Higround notes that it does ship its products to Malaysia, though expect to be charged with international shipping fees on top of your purchases. It is also worth noting that, at the time of writing, products featuring the Green Hill Zone and Dreamcast designs are already sold out. (Source: Higround [official website], via ArsTechnica)
