As mentioned earlier, the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K features a 80MP Super 35mm sensor that supports a resolution of 12,228 x 6480 pixels. The company claims that the sensor has a dynamic range of 14 stops and a native ISO of 800. In addition to its ability to record at 12K RAW at 60fps, the URSA Mini Pro can also record 8K and 4K RAW video at up to 110fps without cropping. Blackmagic claims that the camera could capture perfect stills and motion shots at the same time, thanks to its 80MP sensor.

The URSA Mini Pro is equipped with dual CFast slots with 900MB/s limit, and dual UHS-II SD slots with a 500MB/s limit. Additionally, you could also let it record directly to SATA or NVMe drives via the USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 expansion port. That said, Blackmagic recommends using an NVMe SSD if you are planning to shoot 12K RAW at full quality with the device.

The Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K will be available in July 2020 from authorised resellers worldwide, and is priced at USD9,995 (~RM42,630). Its availability in Malaysia is not known at this time. (Source: Blackmagic [Official website] [Facebook])
