According to prominent leakster Greymon55 (@greymon55), the boost clockspeeds of the 6950XT will be set slightly above the 2.5GHz mark, which doesn’t sound all that mindblowing, if we’re honest. As it stands, three custom cooled variants of the currently existing 6900XT have already had their Navi 21 XTX GPU pushed well beyond their default 2250MHz. Case in point, both ASUS and Gigabyte’s own third-party offerings of the card are rated at 2525MHz, while Sapphire’s Toxic Extreme card has been overclocked to run at a sustained 2730MHz.

Having said that, it should be noted that it is unclear if AMD intends on shipping out the card with an air cooler – complete with the defacto triple-fan configuration – or if it will once again employ the use of an AIO cooler, just as it did with the 6900XT LC. The AMD Radeon RX 6950XT is rumoured to launch sometime in the middle of April. But, as with all rumours, the same warning about sodium consumption applies here.
