As noted previously, it appears that we’ll be getting a different version of the Reno4 which features different specifications from the Chinese release. The global edition of the smartphone will be equipped with a quad-camera setup aligned vertically on its back, while its front is a curved display with a punch-hole camera cutout.
At this time OPPO Malaysia had only provided some details of the phone, but mostly regarding its rear cameras. The Reno4 is equipped with a 48MP high definition main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle, 2MP macro, and a 2MP mono. According to a now-deleted hands-on video, the Pro variant will feature the same main shooter but its sub-cameras consists of a 13MP telephoto, 12MP ultra-wide, and an unspecified fourth sensor. Additionally, several sources have reported that the global version of the Reno4 Pro includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, and a battery capacity of 4,000mAh with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging support. There is also a slight chance that the standard and Pro variants of the phone may feature different configurations.
The OPPO Reno4 Series will see a live launch via the company’s official Youtube channel, as well as its Facebook and Twitter pages on 3 August. Alternatively, you can also catch it live through other participating platforms including TV3 and 8TV. (Source: OPPO Malaysia [Facebook] / GSMArena)
