Zackrydz explained to us earlier today that the incident took place at his home in Batu Pahat, Johor last weekend. At first, he was quite perplexed as there was no sign of a break-in and no other items were stolen from his home. Furthermore, the casing for the iPhone XS Max was somehow left behind by the perpetrator. Around one and half-day later, he asked his brother to give a call to the phone while he roams around the back of his home in the last attempt to search for it. As the story goes, he then heard the ringtone of his iPhone coming from the nearby jungle. After the iPhone was retrieved and cleaned, he then opens up the gallery of the iPhone which now contained several images and videos taken by the monkey that has been spending time playing around with his iPhone camera.
— z (@Zackrydz) September 13, 2020 Some of the output seemed not too bad at all and there is even a video of the heist theft in progress: For Zakrydz, it was a good thing that his iPhone was fully charged before he went to bed that night. Else, the iPhone XS Max might be out of battery before being able to find it once again. For the rest of us, you may want to consider storing your devices in a much secure area, as a general safety measure.
