According to Prasarana, the app provides information on the status and estimated time of arrival for each aforementioned public transportation service, as well as real-time locations for busses and trains. PULSE covers services including the Kelana Jaya Line, Ampang Line and Sri Petaling Line LRT networks, KL Monorail Line, Rapid Transit Bus Sunway Line, Rapid KL busses and MRT shuttle busses.

Users can also allow the app to send them push notifications so they can be up to date regarding any changes in the service, such as delays and so on. The new PULSE app is planned to be available for download next week via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
