Perhaps arguably, August’s headliner for PS Plus subscribers is Yakuza: Like A Dragon. The seventh entry into the mainline series, this also marks a change to the series’ formula moving forward. We’re tempted to say that the spinoff series Judgment will continue the more action-oriented side of things. But the future of the subseries is kind of up in the air considering the differences between publisher Sega and talent agency Johnny & Associates, which manages star actor Takuya Kimura who plays subseries lead Takayuki Yagami. Going back to the PS Plus free games for August, the next great thing for next month is undoubtedly Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. Which will also probably be the only games to get remade, since the studio behind it, Vicarious Visions, got absorbed by Blizzard and got turned into a support studio. As for the remaining two games that PS Plus subscribers can get for free next month, these are Little Nightmares and Unrailed. Both of these titles are for the PS4 only, unlike the other two which are compatible with both generations of PlayStation consoles. Unrailed also happens to be the extra title that other regions are not getting.

With the new list taking over on 2 August, you should claim the current one while you still can. Or at the very least, claim Crash Bandicoot 4 and Man of Medan. (Source: PlayStation Asia / Twitter)
