On the PlayStation Blog, the company listed the streaming apps that will be available on the PS5 on launch. The list includes Apple TV Plus, Disney Plus, Netflix, Spotify, Twitch and YouTube. The company also says they will all be found in the Media space, with no need to download them.

The company also says that the PS5 Media Remote will help navigate all of these streaming services. In the accompanying image, the company shows that the remote has dedicated launch buttons for Disney Plus, Netflix, Spotify and YouTube. It looks like the PS5 is set to be quite the entertainment hub. And because Sony Interactive Entertainment never made a big deal out of it, it’s seen simply as a bonus. Clearly the company has learned from the launch of the Xbox One, which sounded very unfocused as what’s supposed to be primarily a video games console. The console was set to be released on 19 November, but there’s a chance that this could be delayed in Malaysia. (Source: PlayStation)
