Renders of the alleged Galaxy Buds Pro was recently shared by reliable leakster Evan Blass via Voice. Based on the images, Samsung seems to be reverting back to an in-ear approach unlike the previous entry, the Buds Live, which features a unique bean-like design.
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) December 2, 2020 Blass noted that this new product will be an additional, rather than a replacement line. This basically means that the Buds Pro is not intended to be a replacement to the Buds Live, which entails the possibility of another rumoured device known as the Galaxy Buds Beyond to be the actual successor instead. While it may not be considered a next generation update to the Buds Live, the new Samsung earbuds will still come with significant features. According to Blass, the Galaxy Buds Pro will be the first Samsung in-ear device to feature Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) capabilities. Other than that, it may also include a 500mAh battery but it is not known how much power the earbuds’ charging case is capable of storing.
Lastly, the leakster added that the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro may not make a debut alongside the rumoured Galaxy S21 smartphones, and could be released on a different date instead. At this time, the existence of the new earbuds has not been confirmed by the company, so do take the information released in this leak with a pinch of salt. (Source: Evan Blass [Voice])
