One of the new additions to the original Samsung Galaxy Buds is support for multi-device pairing. This is limited to compatible Samsung devices, as well as Windows 10 using Swift Pair. The update also improves on the ambient sound feature on the Galaxy Buds. After the update, you can have ambient sound pass through even when you’re only using one Bud. This feature is otherwise locked until you put on both Buds. The update also makes it so that you can turn on the feature before you even put the Buds on.
Spotify is also getting better integration with the Samsung Galaxy Buds. You can now set up one of the tap-and-hold commands to immediately launch the app and continue listening to what you were previously listening to. Tap and hold again from there and a random playlist will be played based on your preferences. This last bit requires you to be a Spotify premium subscriber though. Samsung has already begun rolling out the update for the Galaxy Buds. To make use of all the features, you’ll have to make sure your Galaxy Wearable and Spotify apps are all up to date. Once they are, check the Galaxy Wear app to see if the updates for the Galaxy Buds is already available to you. (Source: Samsung)
