The answer is yes, the Swatch x Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition Set will indeed be released in Malaysia. Given its special nature though, it takes a little bit of extra effort and luck to get your hands on the set. For starters, Swatch Pavilion KL is the only retail store in Malaysia that has the set as noted by Swatch’s website. Not only that, it can only be obtained through a raffle in which you can participate by scanning the QR code on the set’s display case at the store which will lead you to a special section on Swatch’s website As part of the raffle’s registration process, you have to answer a quiz when you submit your details. When we visited Pavilion KL this morning, the staff informed us that only 10 sets have been allocated for the store and each of them carries a price tag of RM4,270. According to the terms and conditions on the raffle’s official website, those who are interested to get their hands on the set have until 10:00 PM CEST on 4 October 2022 to register. That is equivalent to 4:00 AM Malaysian time on 5 October register although do note that each person may register only once or risk being removed from the raffle. Based on our observation, it seemed that the QR code is specific to Swatch Pavilion KL which means you need to make sure that you are able to personally visit the store to purchase the set if the raffle picked your name. Nevertheless, for the benefit of those who may not have enough time or are too far away to physically visit the store and scan the QR code themselves, here it is:
Alternatively, you may try your luck to purchase the set via Swatch’s online store at 9:00 AM CET (3:00 PM Malaysian time) on 6 October. Well, to everyone that is planning to try their luck in getting the Swatch x Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition Set, we wish you all the best and may the odds be in your favour.
