The near month-long event serves as a number of events mashed into one. A number of highlights, as MDEC points out, include a career fair with big names Like PlayStation Studios, Bandai Namco, Streamline Studios and Codemaster holding career talks. On the esports side of things, there are a couple of tourneys being held as part of MYDCF 21 as well. Featured titles include Apex Legends, Valorant, and Tekken 7, among others. Also part of this is the LEVEL UP KL Junior Shoutcasting Challenge, which consists of both workshops and competitions for those who are looking to venture into the field. There’s also the Comic Art Festival, which is done in partnership with Comic Fiesta and Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur. It would basically be the virtual version of the animation, comics and games convention that used to happen annually. During MYDCF 21, MDEC will also be soft-launching what is called the Malaysia Game Store. Despite its name, it serves more like an agent to help local game devs along with the publishing side of the process.. You can find the full itinerary of the event linked below. As it’s a virtual event, steps you need to take to participate can also be found there. Many of the elements are gamified to, so you can have some fun while you’re at it. (Source: MDEC)
