This bit of information was originally derived from a site called World Today News that, in turn, gained the alleged information through a series of compiled statements. Specifically, the site pulled a comment from Kim Libreri, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Epic Games, who said that the results would be “pretty good”. Technically speaking, the PlayStation 5’s (PS5) is reportedly capable of churning out 10.28 TFLOPs of computing power. While the RTX 2070 Super outputs nine TFLOPS of computing power alone. While it all sounds very interesting, it should be noted that the main source is, at best questionable. As it stands, the UE 5 tech demo that was showcased last week was meant to show off the PS5’s own technical prowess, and a tech demo for PC has yet to manifest. So take the news with a large grain of salt. (Source: World Today News via TweakTown, TPU)
