As opposed to Samsung who have designed a totally new variant of Galaxy S10 device for the 5G market, the Mi Mix 3 5G is a carbon copy of the existing Mi Mix 3 which already available in Malaysia for quite some time.
What made the Mi Mix 3 different from the existing variant is the fact that it is equipped with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip. Naturally, there is also the Snapdragon X50 modem which allows it to support 5G network. The slider will be released in Europe this May with a starting price of EU 599 (RM 2769). Given the 5G’s state in Malaysia which is still the test phase, we don’t expect it to pop up in our market anytime soon.
