First announced back in February this year, evidence of the Mi TV Q1’s imminent arrival was first discovered within the SIRIM database, which received approval on 21 April. Specs-wise, the 4K TV uses a 75-inch QLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and is powered by a MediaTek MT9611 SoC and 2GB RAM. Connectivity-wise, the TV comes with two HDMI 2.0 ports, one HDMI 2.1 eARC port, a LAN port, AV inputs, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity as well.
There’s also the Mi TV P1, which is the latest addition to the brand’s 4K TV lineup. As its title suggest, the TV has a 55-inch, borderless, 4K UHD display. Unlike the Q1, however, the P1’s refresh rate is rated at a standard 60Hz, but it does support Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Oh, and it also has a DCI-P3 colour accuracy of 94%, and a form of anti-tearing technology. In terms of audio, the P1 had dual 10W speakers that Xiaomi says can deliver a “rich, clear, multi-layered” audio experience.
